"Sunrise on Willow Pond I" was photographed on September 26, 2017. As the fog was lifting, the early morning sun began to filter through, casting an amazing warm glow to hit the tops of these beautiful summer Willow trees off of Fish Lake Rd in Lapeer county.

This collection was a dream five years ago; an idea tossed around when an opportunity presented itself to travel throughout the thumb area of my home state of Michigan. My life, my family and my memories revolve around this state and to have the opportunity to meander through the backroads of the thumb has transformed my view of what life should be. As a great-grandmother, grandmother, mother and wife; my life has had many ups and downs; but thanking the good Lord for waking up in the mornings has been my pleasure for over sixty years. He has put me through hurdles I thought I would never survive and yet, here I am. He presented me with an opportunity to learn what living in the moment means.
